Amanda & Vic's Wedding

I'm thankful for this couple, they totally hung in there with me. I'm glad to report that they still have beautiful pictures despite of me breaking some of my equipment. Not only did i fall in front of everyone while getting a beautiful overview shot from the front, but everyone stopped as they were saying their vows. My flash broke, later my wide angle lense broke, found out the next day that my hood was stuck on the other lense, and the I had a few bruses from falling. Never in my life has this happend to me. But yes, I believe God is soooooooo good that all my pictures were good and that i got home safely. It's great to have back up equipment and to now just look back and laugh because it's over and everything is fine! My equpiment is going through repairs and i should have it back soon, Hurray for Canon!

Heidi and Greg's 25th Anniversary Party

Heidi is very creative, so when it came to her 25th Anniversary she went all out. Everyone wore a wedding dress or black suit, the theme, "Princess Bride for a Day." She had a gorgeous wedding dress, which was made specifically how she wanted it. We took pictures by the carriage and by the clock, all this was set up at her house, her cake was a castle and it tasted really, really good. There was dresses hung as decorations all over the house, flowers and ding dongs with the silver wrapping, creative! Her kids put on shows, danced and singed. It was great! Thank you for letting me be a part of this wonderful day and for all the chocolate! I feel really blessed to know you guys. I look forward to continuing to photograph your upcoming events.

Vacation/Camping

This was our cabin, where we camped out! I don't do outdoors very well. I like a bed a shower and a kitchen, it's much better and much more comfortable than a tent and trying to figure all that out. My kids enjoyed the vacation and that's what matters most to me. Bellow are several pictures of the families we spent time with. There was laughing, crying, eating, cooking, lots of playing and catching small fish and guppies, sleeping, fishing and splashing. Hey no worries, next year there will still be lots of fish in the sea and lots of frogs in the pond for the kids to catch. I'll defenetly have to bring a cage next time, no more catch and release!!!

Our friends we hung out with, four families, The Luna's, Thomas, and Velasquez. Thank you for all the food and everything you shared. This camping trip was quite a learning experience for us, especially me. Enjoy the pictures.

Joshua and Luke... and the rest hanging out on the river... the kids loved it.

My son with Lily and Hannah...

Hannah and daddy sharing a bite to eat...

We needed logs for the fire, it was a job for the men!

Crossing the River, hand and hand, those rocks were slippery!

Joshua fishing, the fish were too small or we would have cooked it up and ate it!

my boys

DJ is with his friends, from school, going on a field trip to the science museum.
We had fun, the IMAX was having a very interesting movie on the way a human develops.
It was interesting, maybe not quite for second graders but I'm sure they understood something.

Maybe he will love to read and study when he gets older too!

Matthew was a lifeguard on duty, the last day of school. He was watching the kids swim at school.

Joshua got a new hair cut, bold, i don't like it but he does!

"Pretty in Pink" Chloe's Sweet 16

I love pink, so this party was the perfect opportunity for me to wear pink, not my usual boring black and white color. Everyone wore pink, as you can see even the boys wore some kind of pink.
Heidi, the mom, loves theme parties, her next one is "Princess Bride for a day" 25th anniversary party and everyone will be wearing wedding gowns and suits as if getting married. I will enjoy photographing this event for her as well. I love your themes Heidi, I can't wait for the next one.

Yonnie and Joe's Wedding

This wedding was at California State University of Long Beach in the Japanese Garden. Not many people know about the garden at this university. Even I didn't know about it when i attended CSULB. I have done a few weddings at this place but this wedding was a very small intimate wedding with just family. The florist, a close friend of the bride and groom, did a great job with the flowers, and i got to take some home at the end of the day! The couple was funny and made me feel like i was part of the family. Thank you Yonnie and Joe for making me feel so comfortable, and for allowing me to be a part of this day. Let me know when your next competition is.

Brandi's Quinceañera May 17th, 2008

Here are some kids that I really enjoyed hanging out with. Brandi and her friends just enjoyed being themselves. The pictures show their personalities and you can see by these pictures how we got along. Yes i got cake in my face, but it was funny! I love these pictures because it reminds me why i love doing what i do. I like being with new people all the time and getting to know them, this shows exactly what i mean when i say, "I feel like I'm part of the family by the end of the day!"

Dawson's (DJ) 8th Birthday

We had lots of fun getting wet. The slip and slide, the Jacuzzi, water balloon fight and the watermelon eating contest. It was so much fun and Dawson was happy to have his friends over and spend some time with them. Thank you for the presents but most of all for spending the day with him and making his birthday a memorable one.

He wanted to have his cake and eat it too, DJ loved this part!

Joshua got a big hug for being a great big brother and giving his brother a present which DJ loved. Thank you Josh, this is what being a big brother is all about.
